Behold the Man follows Karl Glogauer, a troubled man from the 20th century who travels back in time to 1st-century Judea hoping to witness the historical Jesus and find meaning in his own damaged life. Karl arrives injured and alone, only to discover that the real world of ancient Judea is far harsher and more chaotic than he imagined—and that the Jesus he expected to find is not the figure of legend.
As Karl becomes entangled with local political and religious forces, he struggles with his past traumas, his yearning for spiritual certainty, and the growing realization that history may need a messiah even if the “real” Jesus cannot fulfill that role. The novel blends psychological drama with speculative fiction, exploring how faith, myth, and human suffering shape one another.
Moorcock’s story is provocative and introspective, examining the fragile line between belief and reality, and the desperate human desire for redemption—even when it comes at great personal cost.

Unless specifically stated, the material is 100% cotton to give comfort and durability (the Ash Grey option is 99% cotton and 1% polyester). The printing technique is direct to garment printing so it has a natural feel, rather than a print onto a transfer which tends to have a plastic feel to it and be less durable. The T-shirts are created to the highest quality in order to preserve the artist’s legacy.
